20th November

We have been very busy today, uploading our brand new navigation menus. We wanted to make the menu more free to float, rather than just a bunch of boxes. Further to this the 'Discover' pages have graduated to be a main section. Lots of bug fixes have also been applied across the site. The homepage has also had a few fixes to. And, yes there is more...the search engine has been adjusted. Basically we wanted to refresh the look, but reduce the loading time of pages, and hey hey! We have done it. Let us know the feedback. What a day it has been!

18th October

3rd October

Changes have been made to our promotions section. We are also pleased to announce that Norton Antivirus 2007 is on the list, with a much improved look and security features. Order it today (it is officially released this Friday).

20th September

We have made some minor modifications to our logo. We have changed the font, and moved the clouds into a better position.

24th August

theopenworld.com has now released a copy of Internet Explorer 7 with our toolbar. As usual, the UK / GB users come first, as it is customised for us Brits! Download a copy today to see what is about to come, before anyone else!

In addition to this our shinie new homepage is now up and running. Give it a look (and the rest of the site) and then send us some feedback.

18th August

We are still continuing to update the adverts sections (www.theopenworld.com/music/adverts/), and we realise it is taking longer than we expected. But please stay with us as it is all on the way and work in progress!

7th August

We are pleased to be able to tell you that a new subsection has arrived in the Music Store - Adverts. A whole section dedicated to music which is featured in adverts, you can get each track either from Amazon or iTunes. It is still in its early phase but we thought we would give you a peak of what we have been up to. You can find this fabulous new service at www.theopenworld.com/music/adverts/.

4th August

We would just like to point out that our site is undergoing some changes at the moment. Some of you have already noticed that parts of the site have a different look, and some have even changed colour. Do not adjust your set! We are doing it in stages and further details about this will be released when the upgrade is complete.
