How to search the Internet with the toolbar

1. To search the web, fill in the search words you are looking for, just like you normally would with any search engine.

2. Click "Search".


To search the website you are viewing

1. To search the website you are currently viewing, fill in the search words you are looking for, just like you normally would with any search engine.

2. Click on the downward pointing arrow to reveal a list of optional searches.

3. Choose "Search this site", and Google will present you with a list of results specifically for that site.


How to search Amazon from within the toolbar

Please note: this feature is currently only available to those who plan to search for products in the Amazon UK region.

1. To search Amazon from the toolbar, fill in the search box the item you are looking for, just like you normally would with Amazon.

2. Click on the downward pointing arrow to reveal a list of optional searches.

3. Choose "Amazon", and Amazon will present you with a list of results for what you searched for.


How to search iTunes from within the toolbar

Please note: this feature is currently only available to those with iTunes version 6 and upwards, and when searching using Internet Explorer. This feature is not available to those searching from within Firefox.

1. To search iTunes from the toolbar, fill in the song name, artist, or album you are looking for, just like you normally would with iTunes.

2. Click on the downward pointing arrow to reveal a list of optional searches.

3. Choose "iTunes UK", iTunes will automatically load if it not already started, and will present you with a list of results.


Highlight your search words in the results

Highlights terms on the page you're visiting by placing a colour bar over it. Each search term found on the page will be highlighted in a different colour. Click the highlight button to toggle highlighting on and off.

Note that it's not necessary to do a search on terms to have them highlighted. Simply enter terms in the search box (do not hit the Enter key) and click the "Highlight" button.
