- Start Norton AntiVirus. If Norton AntiVirus is part of
Norton Internet Security or Norton System
Works, then start that program.
- Click Options, and then click Norton AntiVirus.
- Under Internet, click Home Page Protection.
- Check Turn home page protection on.
- un-check Block all attempts to change my home page.
- Check alert me when Norton AntiVirus
blocks an attempt to change my homepage.
- Check Alert me when my home page loads.
- Exit your browser (if any windows are
open), and then restart it. When your browser
restarts, go to
www.theopenworld.com/search/ and click 'make
this my homepage' and click the button to set the
browser.
