Mirror site Some websites are so popular that they can become
congested by all the people trying to download files from the site, sort
of like an online traffic jam. To relieve this congestion, the owners of
the site may create several ?mirror? sites around the world. The mirror
site contains all the same files as the original site. If you find a
mirror site that is close to you ? in the same country or continent ?
you will probably be able to download sites more quickly than using the
main site.
